Terms of Agreement

1. Platform Overview

Sidekick Neighbors LLC ("Sidekick") operates a hyperlocal community marketplace connecting Highland Pointe HOA residents ("Neighbors") with teen service providers ("Teens") for small household tasks.

2. Eligibility

You must be a verified Highland Pointe HOA resident aged 18 or older.

3. Service Fee

Sidekick charges a 12% service fee on top of the Teen's hourly rate. This fee is charged to the Neighbor only. Teens keep 100% of their quoted rate.

4. Payment

Payment is authorized at job confirmation and charged only after you mark the job complete. Tips go 100% to the Teen with no platform deduction.

5. Community Standards

Neighbors agree to treat Teens with respect and provide a safe working environment.

6. Liability

Sidekick is not liable for property damage or personal injury arising from services performed.

7. Cancellation

Jobs cancelled within 2 hours of the confirmed start time may incur a cancellation fee of up to 25%.

8. Privacy

Your full address is only shared with the matched Teen after job confirmation.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

1. Eligibility

Teens must be at least 14 years old and a verified Highland Pointe HOA resident. A parent or legal guardian must co-register and provide consent.

2. Earnings

Teens keep 100% of their quoted hourly rate. Sidekick's 12% service fee is charged only to Neighbors. Tips are passed through at 100% with no deduction.

3. Payout

Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect to a parent-owned or parent-sponsored account. Funds are typically available within 2 business days of job completion.

4. Work Restrictions

Teens aged 14–15 may not perform tasks involving heavy equipment, heights above 6 feet, or pool chemicals.

5. Parent Responsibilities

Parents agree to supervise their teen's use of the platform and approve job acceptances.

6. Safety

Teens must keep all communication in-app until a job is confirmed. Full addresses are only revealed after job confirmation.

7. Financial Literacy

Sidekick encourages Teens to track their earnings and set savings goals.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. The parent or guardian accepts full legal responsibility on behalf of the minor.

By creating an account on Sidekick Neighbors, you agree to these Terms of Agreement and our Privacy Policy.

2. Community First

Sidekick Neighbors is built on trust within Highland Pointe HOA. All users agree to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with community values — respect, honesty, and accountability.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at info@sidekickneighbors.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment, abuse, or discrimination of any kind
• Sharing personal contact information outside the platform before job confirmation
• Misrepresenting your identity or qualifications
• Using the platform for any purpose other than legitimate household task services

5. Ratings & Reviews

Both Neighbors and Teens may leave ratings after job completion. Reviews must be honest and based on actual experience. Fraudulent reviews may result in account suspension.

6. Account Suspension

Sidekick reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or compromise the safety and trust of the community.

7. Platform Changes

Sidekick may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
